This weekend (7th March) Bjork’s retrospective show was reviled at the MOMA in New York. This is a gallery I wish I could attend as a huge fan of her work for many years it’s a shame I can’t see it as this is one of the largest and most personal exhibition she has ever done. The tour is narrated by her and the devices used in the exhibit sense where you are in the exhibit and narrate accordingly, there is a showing of her newest music video for MOMA visitors only. The exhibit shows all her work up to now including work from Sugarcubes all the way up to ‘Vulnicura’ her newest album.
The exhibit also features original art work for her albums alternative artwork as well as 3d sculptures of some of her outfits and the most memorable moments in her extensive career.
